Complete ZenFone Max Pro M2 Review
The zenfone max pro m2 is here and it looks like the perfect candidate for the crown of the best budget smartphone out there well is it the best budget smartphone order let’s find out
hey, guys, this is a page from Techolympic.com. let’s talk about the zenfone max Pro. let’s start off by talking about the zenfone max through m1 which is a phone.
I recommend it to a lot of people and I did that because the m1 was a solid smartphone with a great blow free experience a battery that was unmatchable in its segment and some consistent performance. so yes the zenfone max for m1 was a great smartphone.
But I had quite a few complaints with it as well I always found the design to be bland and dull and the cameras evened up 6 GB diversion but disappointing when now the zenfone max pro m2 has arrived and after using it for a week now I can tell you that this is another zenfone.
I will be recommending to a lot of people let me tell you why the zenfone max program who not only fixes the issues I had with the zenfone max for m1 it brings additional changes that really make it a great.
Great budget smartphone first off the dull bland design is gone the max features a premium glass-like finish on the back and it certainly looks great it is plastic. But the finish here gives the phone a very premium look. so it’s all nice but there’s one problem even though the back here is not glass but it behaves like glass.
what I mean is the back here is very prone to scratches look at the scratches on our unity. It’s insane to even the glass backbones we have don’t have as many scratches as the mats for him to dust.
I think this is the reason Asus bundles a case with the phone. yeah, there’s a lot of scratches here but if you ignore that this is a premium looking smartphone and I really like that plus I like how lightweight this phone feels especially when you factor in the fact that this has a 5000 mAh battery.
Let’s compare the max for M to wait with other phones in this price range as you can see the Motorola 1 power 2 has a 5000 mAh battery but that weighs in at 205 grams while the zenfone max pro m2 weighs in at 175 grams.
The difference is impressive and what’s even more impressive is that the m2 is lighter than a lot of phones that have smaller batteries so yeah this is super impressive moving on to the front there are changes here as well the zenfone max pro m2 comes with the knotch.
I know a lot of you guys don’t like this I mean as I’ve said previously I think a teardrop notch is the best implementation of the knotch but at least they’re not on the max parameter is not as huge as the one on the redmi note 6 throws anyway for those wondering if the weird notch issue we talked about has been fixed or not well it’s not I know it’s not a major issue but I just find this a little annoying.
Especially while playing games because there’s no way to force apps to use the full screen or hide the not so yeah.! There are a few issues in the zenfone max for him too well let’s hope easiest fixes apart from the Oviatt not issues there’s a lot to like about the front of the zenfone max.
The display here is really good it’s not the same display as the m1 because the display on the m2 is larger has better color reproduction. It’s more vibrant and it’s bright too no complaints here and then there’s the fact that the phone has good in like glass six on one now every other phone in this price range comes with Gorilla Glass 3.
so kudos Louise’s for bringing in the latest Gorilla Glass 4 the zenfone max. so the new Gorilla Glass 6 on the zenfone max prime – is supposed to bring better draw protection right.
Tested things out we dropped the phone a couple of times yes we just like that and the screen was fine so he has the Gorilla Glass 6 on the zenfone max. should have you covered when comes to screen protection moving on to another thing that needed fixing from the zenfone max pro m1.
That’s the camera’s zenfone max program to includes a new Sony sensor. Maximum two takes photos data sharp and high in detail especially when there is good life some photos have done out of it oversaturated like this portrait mode photo but I don’t think this is a huge issue.
when it comes to low-light the max player who takes decent photos but sometimes the photos aren’t as sharp as I’d like and sometimes noise creeps it so yeah! low-light photos are a bit of a mixed bath compared to the redmi note 6 pro and the real me 2 pro cameras it’s a tough call in good light look at these photos all the phones are pretty good.
Coming to the front cameras the zenfone max pro m2 take some decent selfies. when there’s good like take a look as you can
see the selfies in good lighting have good detail and good colours. However, things aren’t as good in low-light the selfies in low-light generally turn out to be soft and they have a little noise in it.
when compared to the note 6 4 and the real me to produce than for maximum 2 compares well in good lighting.
I am talking about the performance the Snapdragon 616 the zenfone max pro m2 is a great upgrade from the Snapdragon 636 on the max-flow m1 in benchmarks the match for him to obviously beats the Snapdragon 626 phones out there like the node 6 pro the nokia 7.1.
The Motorola one part, when compared to phones with the Snapdragon 616 like the real me to put on the mir to the scores of the m2, are most similar to the real me to pro and that’s because just like the real before the high performance.scores on the zenfone max pro m2 snapdragon 616 I’ve clocked at 1.96 gigahertz instead of the well.
To be honest, the lower clock speed isn’t something I really care about because in my usage the phone hasn’t performed really well things have been smooth would be during the day to day tasks. Do you ring multitasking we have the 4gb ram variate of the phone here so things should be even better in the 6 gb ram.
when it comes to gaming performance the phone handles games like pubs mobile and asphalt I’d really wet the phone sets Pub G’s graphics settings and medium by default and on that setting the deeply smooth and almost flawless I tried playing the game at high graphics as well.
Just like the zenfone max pro m1 the stock Android experience is great and the battery is just impressive. I mean it’s not perfect the back is very scratch road there are software issues. gigahertz Wi-Fi support but are these deal-breakers well no any women comes with a competition.
There’s the let me know it explodes is slightly better cameras but it has a slower processor inferior design and a smaller battery.
Here’s also the real with two Pro and the real me new one and they both have the trendy teardrop not designs and great performance but I cannot live with colour OS so there’s that there are a lot of other phones in like the Nokia 6.1 plus.
The Motorola one power and more. But they all feel to match the zenfone max pro-M tools all-around capabilities.
so there you have it that was a zenfone max pro m2 review but what do you think do you think this is the best budget smartphone out there? well, tell us in the comment section below.
